Specification:

Heatless type compressed air dryer is the simplest form of air dryer for achieving a dew point of (-) 40°C. Wet air enters at the bottom of tower under drying cycle & passes upward through the desiccant bed wherein moisture gets adsorbed.  The clean, dry air comes out from the top of the tower.  A portion of the dry compressed air passes through the needle valve / orifice plate through the desiccant and purge out the desorbed moisture.  This moist air then vented to atmosphere through a silencer.  Cycle time for heatless type air dryer is 5 + 5 minutes.  Operation of air dryer is automatic with sequence controller. Average purge loss in this type of Dryer is 10 to 12% and Standard cycle time for this type of dryer is 5 + 5 Minutes. As per good engineering practice and  keeping in view energy conservation. This type of dryer are preferred approx. up to 1000 NM³/Hr.
